Privacy Policy

Lux Wealth Group · Last updated: 13 May 2026

Plain-English summary: Lux Handoff injects a prompt into your active Claude session to generate a structured handover summary. Your Claude conversations, chat history, and session content stay entirely on your device — we never see them. We contact our licence server (Supabase) only at three specific moments to manage your licence. See Section 2 for details.

This privacy policy covers Lux Handoff, the Chrome extension published by Lux Wealth Group (ABN 94 281 418 234). It describes exactly what data the extension collects, what it sends to our servers, and what it does not.

1. What stays on your device

The following data is generated, stored, and used only on your device. None of it is transmitted to Lux Wealth Group, Supabase, or any third party.

2. What we send to our licence server

To enforce licence validity and device limits, the extension contacts our backend hosted on Supabase (fqnsmqzznmouzcotpjxs.supabase.co) in three specific situations only:

WhenWhat we sendWhy
You activate a key Licence key, email address, a random device ID generated locally on first install To verify the key is valid, the email matches the one used at checkout, and the device limit has not been reached
Every 24 hours (background heartbeat) Licence key, random device ID To confirm your key has not been revoked and your device slot is still bound
You click "Remove key" Licence key, email, random device ID To free a slot so you can activate on another device

Your IP address is incidentally visible to our Supabase server during these requests, as with any HTTP connection. We do not log or store your IP address beyond what Supabase retains in its infrastructure logs (typically 7 days — see Supabase's privacy policy).

3. What we do NOT do

4. The device ID we generate

On first install, Lux Handoff generates a random UUID (e.g. 3f8c4e2a-...-9d1b) using your browser's built-in crypto.randomUUID() function. This UUID is stored in your browser's local extension storage and sent to our licence server during activation, heartbeat, and deactivation.

This UUID is not derived from any of your device's properties, identifiers, hardware, network, or personal information. It exists only to distinguish "device A" from "device B" for the device-limit feature. If you uninstall and reinstall the extension, a new UUID is generated.

5. Email address

The email you provide at activation is matched against the email you used to purchase the licence (via Stripe). It is stored in our Supabase database alongside your licence key and device ID. We use it only to verify you own the licence at activation and to send licence-related support emails. We do not add you to any marketing list. We do not share your email with third parties.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Lux Wealth Group does not see, store, or transmit your credit card details. Stripe shares your payment email and a transaction ID with us, which we use to issue your licence key.

7. Data retention and deletion

Your licence record (key, email, device ID) is retained while your licence is active. If you wish to permanently delete your data, email support@luxwealthgroup.com.au and we will delete your record within 30 days. Note that this revokes your licence — you will lose access to the extension's paid features.

8. Children's privacy

Lux Handoff is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that materially expands our data collection, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify existing licence holders by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
